FAA Proposal that will allow heavier (and therefore larger) jets to land at MCA.

The FAA is proposing that weight restrictions be modified/lifted at some airports. This proposal will affect the Martin County Airport. You can make your written objections to this proposal by going the the following site:

"Weight Based Restrictions at Airport; Proposed Policy" (8 down from the top)

Comments on the proposed policy must be delivered on mailed, in duplicate, to: the Docket Management System, U.S. Department of Transportation, Room Plaza 401, 400 Seventh Street, SW., Washington, DC 20590-0001. You must identify the docket number "FAA Docket No FAA-2003-15495" at the beginning of your comments. 

It is important that each and every one of us concerned about the growth that we seen at the Martin County Airport, get involved and write or email your objection to this very harmful FAA proposal.
